Welcome to My Baby Beginnings Doula Service.
My goal as a doula is to provide uninterrupted support, comfort and encouragement to all mothers
who wish for me to be present for the very beautiful miracle of birth.
A doula is there to help support a labouring woman to help ensure a safe and satisfying childbirth
as the woman defines it.
She is there to enhance the relationships between the hospital staff, the labouring woman's
partner and others present. Often times the partner will become more involved with a doula present.
A labouring woman can never have too much support. A doula strives to work as a team with the nursing
staff and welcomes any suggestions and physical support that the nurse may provide.

My Service Package:
- Initial phone interview, followed by 2 prenatal visits.
- Birth Prepartion handouts, as well as a birth plan guide that we will go over together.
- 24/7 telephone & email support and advise throughout your entire pregnancy.
- On call from the 38th week of pregnancy until you give birth.
- Continuous, uninterrupted support throughout labor and birth and postpartum.
- Breastfeeding support.
- Visit 24 hours after labor, as well as a post-natal visit 2 weeks after birth.
- Labor and newborn pictures (optional)
